Ziyah Gafic – ‘Precious Possessions’

A link I found on ‘Telephoto ‘ (the Telegraphs online photography section) on a project by Ziyah-Gafic

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/pakistan/7614290/Ziyah-Gafic-Precious-possessions-in-Pakistan.html

Great Photos and an intelligent premise for the project as a whole. Demonstrated in some part by the following quote:

‘As a refugee you are stripped of everything you have, from your possessions to your identity and dignity, and forced to leave at very short notice. So I asked them what they wanted shown in the picture and where they wanted to stand. I felt it was the least I could do.’
